Premier président du syndicat des journalistes de La Presse, puis animateur de journaux satiriques d’extrême droite, Arcand va croiser sur son chemin l’écrivain Louis-Ferdinand Céline et se lier aux milieux politiques fascistes internationaux, en particulier dans le monde anglo-saxon impérialiste auquel il s’identifie. Emprisonné pour ses activités durant la guerre, Arcand reprendra son programme avec un certain succès, notamment auprès de membres de l’Union nationale du premier ministre Maurice Duplessis.

L’histoire d’Adrien Arcand s’inscrit sans conteste dans celle d’un siècle tragique. Ce personnage étonnant n’avait pourtant suscité jusqu’ici qu’une attention de surface, comme si les aiguilles de la conscience historique avaient refusé de reconnaître tout à fait ce temps des catastrophes qui, au Canada comme ailleurs, eut sa gloire et son public.

The culprits are the "Hunters," three superhuman psychics (Lucifer, Asura, and Freya) with telekinetic and pyrokinetic powers, manipulated by corrupt government officials.
Angel uncovers that Red May is funded by foreign interests (Jews in the Japanese version, Americans in the English version), forming a global conspiracy.
The confrontations are ultra-violent, featuring extreme gore, explosions, and intense battles between cyborgs, psychics, and terrorists.
