By using Leo Frank's August 18th 1913 testimony to the Jury, Watson proves unequivocally that Leo M. Frank murdered Mary Phagan between 12:05 and 12:15 on April 26th 1913.

In early years, Watson championed poor farmers and the working class; later he became a controversial publisher and a controversial Populist politician who supported the Ku Klux Klan. Two years prior to his death, he was elected to the United States Senate.[/justify]
