[justify]In this animated tale, a tiny village is destroyed by a surging glacier, which serves as the deadly domain for the evil Ice Lord, Nekron. The only survivor is a young warrior, Larn, who vows to avenge this act of destruction. The evil continues, however, as Nekron's palace of ice heads straight towards Fire Keep, the great fortress ruled by the good King Jarol. When Jarol's beautiful daughter, Teegra, is abducted by Nekron's sub-human ape-like creatures, Larn begins a daring search for her. What results is a tense battle between good and evil, surrounded by the mystical elements of the ancient past.[/justify]

[justify]Tygra, la glace et le feu (Fire and Ice) est un film d'animation américain de fantasy réalisé par Ralph Bakshi en collaboration avec l'illustrateur Frank Frazetta, sorti en 1983. Il utilise la technique de la rotoscopie.

Synopsis :
Deux royaumes ennemis s'affrontent : le royaume du feu gouverné par le roi Jarol, et celui de la glace, sous la coupe du puissant et cruel Nekron et de sa mère Juliana. Afin d'étendre encore plus leur territoire, cette dernière fait kidnapper par une armée de sous-hommes la fille de Jarol, la belle princesse Tygra, dans le but de la marier à son fils. Mais au cours de l'enlèvement, Tygra parvient à s'extirper des mains de ces hommes-singes. Durant sa fuite, son chemin croise celui du guerrier Larn, dont elle s'éprend. Ensemble, accompagnés du mystérieux homme masqué Darkwolf, ils mettront tout en ?uvre afin que le bien triomphe des forces du mal.[/justify]
